Tecumseh will continue to seek financial support for their waterfront park as plans finalize.

Council endorsed the final plans last night which now include Dragon View Gardens, a memorial for those lost to cancer.

Mayor Gary McNamara says the Dragon View Gardens portion of the park will be completed in time for the Dragon boat festival this year.

The rest of the park is waiting on funding and may have to be completed in phases.

Council says they are excited to have a “signature waterfront park” for the entire region to enjoy.
