An open house at the Windsor and District Chapter of the Kidney Foundation was held today marking world kidney day.

Locally 141 people have received kidney transplants, and 247 people are on dialysis. Spokesperson Erika Muscat wants the public to know kidney disease isn't something people usually feel symptoms of until it's really advanced. Muscat says annual physical's are key to finding kidney disease early.
