Leamington Municipal Councilors are extending their funding agreement for the transfer of Federal Gas Tax revenue.

In order to receive its share of the revenues, which was over 880 thousand in 2009 Leamington had to enter into an agreement with the Association of Municipalities of Ontario. The money can be spent on a variety of projects related to water and an assortment of other community management areas. The new Four year agreement shows Leamington will receive over one point four million dollars annually under the program.
