Provincial police have a 17-year old Tecumseh man in custody after a police chase in the town.

Early Saturday morning police tried to stop a vehicle on Manning near Saint Gregory when they allege the vehicle took off, hitting four parked cars and some bushes. According two people two men go out of the vehicle and took off running, and managed to evade the police Canine unit that was tracking them. However, police traced the vehicle back to a 17-year old Tecumseh man, and charged him with dangerous driving, flight from police, and taking a vehicle without consent.
