Pension ReformMon Mar 8th, 2010
CAW officials in Windsor are once again making the push for pension reform.

They're holding a news conference later this morning to raise awareness on what they think the government needs to do.

Officials say pensions need to be a top priority.

Union heads will be alongside former employees from General Chemical and SKD to tell their stories.

CAW Windsor Area Director Debbie Fields says in the last several years they've witnessed the impact on Canadian workers when pension plans have been left under funded -- and where companies have abandoned their obligations through bankruptcies.

The meeting is being held at the CAW Windsor Area Office on Central Avenue.
