Leamington Municipal Councilors are extending their funding agreement for the transfer of Federal Gas Tax revenue. In order to receive its share of the revenues, which was over 880 thousand in 2009 Leamington had to enter into an agreement with the Association of Municipalities of Ontario. The post mortem's are expected to be conducted today on two bodies found at a Worchester Avenue home yesterday. One Leamington police car was stationed at the home this morning. Amherstburg Police have charged a LaSalle Police constable with assault. It follows a domestic disturbance early Sunday morning. 42-year old Todd Sloan of LaSalle was arrested, and held in custody until he was released on bail today with conditions not to contact the victim. Police arrested a second man wanted after a home invasion on Josephine two weeks ago. Leamington Police are investigating after two people were found dead at their home over the weekend. Police were called to a home on Worchester Avenue just after 7:30 Sunday morning, after someone saw a man collapsed. When police arrived, they found a 71 year old man dead in the driveway. Windsor police are investigating a serious allegation concerning a surgeon at Hotel Dieu Grace Hospital. An emergency department physician is accused of entering the ER while he was drunk and making advances on nurses. A hospital spokesperson says the doctor wasn't working at the time.
