Names Released in Leamington DeathsTue Mar 9th, 2010
Leamington Police and the OPP have confirmed the two people who live in a home on Worchester Avenue were indeed the ones found dead at the home Sunday.

71-year old Mohssen Tannous, known by his neighbours as Max was found deceased in the driveway of the home. His wife, 64-year old Hinda Tannous, known as Elaine to her neighbours, was found dead inside the home... Click here for full story
Hartwell Wants Privileges BackTue Mar 9th, 2010
A hearing is scheduled for tomorrow afternoon about whether or not to reinstate the surgical privileges of Doctor Barbara Heartwell.

The doctor is accused of performing an unnecessary mastectomy last November. Heartwell originally voluntarily withdrew her privileges at Hotel-Dieu Grace hospital, but then changed her mind and was suspended... Click here for full story

Subdivision Deal Reached in KingsvilleTue Mar 9th, 2010
A 48 lot subdivision in Kingsville have gotten the go ahead from town council.

It'll be built at the end of Prince Albert Street next to the former Kingsville landfill site. Council granted the developer a three year extension on the agreement, giving him time to wait for the market to improve before starting construction... Click here for full story

Butcher Engineering is losing it's biggest customer... Ford. Butcher packages auto parts for shipping and Ford is moving the work to the U-S. Leamington Reaches Gas Tax DealTue Mar 9th, 2010
Leamington Municipal Councilors are extending their funding agreement for the transfer of Federal Gas Tax revenue.

In order to receive its share of the revenues, which was over 880 thousand in 2009 Leamington had to enter into an agreement with the Association of Municipalities of Ontario.
